Studley Park Boathouse

Yarra Bend Park is the largest area of natural bushland near the heart of Melbourne. The park features steep river escarpments, open woodlands, playing fields and golf courses. Sitting at a landing on the river banks near Studley Park Boathouse under Kanes Bridge at the end of an Autumn day in a cooling breeze I painted these river gums and the little family of ducks playing under the boughs.
